to JARC President's Post

Norman Wachler has been
nominated as president of
the Jewish Association for
Retarded Citizens, whose
slate of officers and direc-
tors will be presented for
election at the annual meet-
ing, 8 p.m. Thursday at the
Jewish Community Cen-
ter's Jimmy Prentis Morris
Branch in Oak Park.
Wachler, a leader of the
association since its forma-
tion, was nominated to suc-
ceed Sharon Alterman, who
then would become first vice
president.

Ben Rosenthal Is Elected
Junior Division President
Benjamin F. Rosenthal
was elected president of the
Jewish Welfare Federation
Junior Division at the di-
vision's 42nd annual meet-
ing.
Rosenthal is a former
chairman of the Junior Di-
vision Men's Pre-Campaign
Section. He has served on
the division's board and
executive committee.
Jonathan R. Roth was
elected as chairman of the
division's executive com-
mittee. Elected as vice
presidents were: Richard C.

1 tbsp. margarine
1 large beef, bouillon cube,
crushed
2 bay leaves
1 cup water
1 large pkg. frozen vegetables
for stew
1 9 oz. pkg. frozen cut green
beans
1 lb. frankfurters, cut in - 1-inch
circles salt and pepper to taste
Add margarine, bouillon
cubes and bay leaves to water
and bring to a boil. Add veget-
ables and simmer until tender
(about 20 minutes). Add
frankfurters, salt and pepper.
Remove bay leaves. Serve
with mustard or catsup.
