Sally Krugel Seeks Seat
on Southfield Board of Ed.
Sally Krugel is a candi-
date in Monday's election
for the Southfield School
Board.
Mrs. Krugel, 36, is mar-
ried and has three children
attending the Southfield
Public Schools.
She is a graduate of the
University of Michigan
with a BA in education and
is a former teacher.
She is active in the
Leonhard PTA, this year
serving as president. She
was area chairman of the
1977 millage campaign.
She has been on the
Southfield Parent Youth
Guidance Commission
for three years and has
served ast its camp
chairman.
Mrs. Krugel is a member
of the education committee
of Cong. Shaarey Zedek and
has served on the board of
Centennial Chapter of Bnai
Brith Women.
She is active in the
Women's Division of the Al-
lied Jewish Campaign, hav-
ing been briefing chairman
for $100 First Time and
Kadima sections. She is
active in Women's Division
of the Jewish Welfare Fed-
eration and serves as
chairman of the Welcome
Wagon Committee. She also
serves on the board of the
Jewish Resettlement Serv-
ice.
She worked on establish-
ing the Israel Information
and Resource Center at the

Cambodians Get
Aid from Israel
GENEVA (JTA) — Israel
was one of the 60 countries
who attended a two-day in-
ternational conference on
humanitarian assistance
for the Kampuchean people
(Cambodia) held last week
in Geneva. Israel will con-
tribute $250,000 to the
Kampuchean relief fund.
