Dr. Joseph Scher

Dr. Joseph Nathan Scher,
a retired medical doctor who
had a practice in Mt. Cle-
mens, died April 27 at age
78.
Born in New York, Dr.
Scher retired to Tamarac,
Fla., seven years ago. He
was graduated from the
University of Toronto Medi-
cal School in 1926.
He was a past chief of staff
at St. Joseph Mercy Hospi-
tal in Mt. Clemens. He de-
