tries on three continents re-
cently completed a four-
month international course
at the Hebrew University
on the development of
groundwater resources.
The course was held at
the university's school of
agriculture in Rehovot. A
new approach to the course
gave students a wider spec-
trum of the problems facing
the hydrologist of the 1980s.
Sponsoring the course are
the university's Swiss
Friends Ground-water Re-
search Center and the de-
partment of soil and water
sciences jointly with the Is-
rael Foreign Ministry's di-
vision for international
cooperation.
