Survivors United
After 41 Years
NEW YORK — Pinkus
Rosenwald, who moved to
New York four months ago,
had thought for 41 years
that his family was lost in
the Holocaust. They were
taken from their home in
Kiltzner, Poland in 1939
and placed in various con-
cerntration camps.
When other survivors of
the war from Kiltzner
gathered recently for their
annual dinner, Rosenwald
met Rose Meyer and Sara
Feder who turned out to be
friends of his missing sister,
Mania Helfgott.
Last month, Rosenwald
was reunited with his sister
and brother Leon, both of
them having settled in
Canada after the war.
