High School student who is
a recent immigrant from
Russia, has forced a change
in Berkley's policies and
will be allowed to graduate
in June.
The female student, who
was not identified by the
school board, has been
attending Berkley High
since December and has
been doing exceptionally
well.
The school board's policy
is that a student must earn
20 credits and attend school
for eight semesters to obtain
a diploma.
