at Flint UJA Program Sunday

Israeli historian Shalmi
Barmore will address the
Flint United Jewish Appeal
program 8 p.m. Sunday at
Cong. Beth Israel.
Born in Tel Aviv, Bar-
more was educated at
McGill University in
Montreal. He also earned
degrees from the Hebrew
University.
He had a diplomatic as-
signment in Poland and
currently is a director of the
Yad Vashem memorial to
Holocaust victims in
Jerusalem.
He served in Argentina
and was an Israeli dele-
gate to the 1970 World
Youth Conference at the
UN.

chairman of the Flint UJA
