ARC is a national organiza-
tion of volunteers devoted to
improving the welfare of re-
tarded persons.
Other than the name,
no other changes in the
local association are
planned. Its board and
general membership,
comprised of relatives

same, as will the group's
offices, at 24525 South-

Establishment of
Haverim Home residences
for retarded Jewish adults
— there are now three —
continues to be a top prior-
ity of the association. Other
services include counseling
of families with a retarded
member, referrals to appro-
priate private and gov-
ernmental agencies,
casework services to re-
tarded persons living inde-
pendently and involvement
in advocacy programs.
