10 to 12 lb. turkey
6 cups of bread cubes
1 cup chestnuts, chopped (op-
tional)
1 onion diced and 2 ribs celery
diced, lightly sauteed in 2
tbsps. margarine
1 tsp. salt
1 /2 tsp. ground ginger
2 /3 cup melted margarine
2 cups Kedem Honey Royale
Wine
Preheat oven to 400 de-
grees. Combine bread cubes,
chestnuts, onion, celery, salt
and ginger in a large bowl and
mix with the margarine and V2
cup of wine. Lightly fill the tur-
key cavity and either sew it
shut or use skewers and
string. Tie ends of drumsticks
together. Wrap drumstick
ends in tin foil. Place turkey
breast side up on a rack In the
large roasting pan. Brush with
wine.
Loosely cover turkey with a
large sheet of foil. Reduce heat
in oven to 350 degrees and
bake 4 to 5 hours or until ten-
der. Baste several times with
wine. Uncover for about last 45
minutes so turkey can brown.
Serves 10-12.

Bonds Announces
Prime Minister's
Conference Dates

The Israel Bonds Prime
Minister's Conference will
be held Jan. 27 to Feb. 4, it
was announced by David B.
Holtzman, metro Detroit Is-
rael Bond general chair-
man.
The conference delega-
tion will first spend three
days in Paris, where Euro-
pean Israel Bond leaders
will host a full business and
social program. On Jan. 30
the delegation will proceed
to Jerusalem, where par-
ticipants will meet with the
top leadership of the gov-
ernment of Israel, including
the prime minister.
Three major elements
of concern and study by
the delegation will be the
military bases that have
to be constructed in the
Negev desert to replace
the Sinai installations;
the development of
energy in the Negev; and
the settlements in
Judea-Samaria.

conference extension will be
a three-day trip to Egypt,
with visits to the pyramids,
the Sphinx, old city of Cairo
and its synagogue.
