Book Fair appearance of
Robert Weisbrot, the author
of "Jews of Argentina." The
title of his talk will be "The
Search for Identity Among
Argentine Jewish Youth."
The 3 p.m. Nov. 18
speaker will be Aliza
Shevrin. Her talk, which
is co-sponsored by
SPACE (a community
service of the National
Council of Jewish
Women) is entitled "Mak-
ing the Jewish Holidays
Meaningful."
Shevrin has selected and
translated seven stories
Sholom Aleichem wrote for
young readers.

The final events in the
Book Fair Prelude series
will be held next week at the
Jewish Community Center.
At 7 p.m. Tuesday, Book
Fair volunteers will review
books written by the speak-
ers at Book Fair.
At 9:30 a.m. Thursday,
the volunteers will re-
view some of the other
books that will be sold at
Book Fair. Both sessions
are open to the public.
