Sinai Guild Sponsors Program on Health Education

The.Sinai Hospital Guild
has planned a health educa-
tion day for the public as its
fall open meeting.
Mrs. Jean Shapero, Guild

The program will feature
more than 10 medical lec-
tures and 30 displays and
exhibits on health and fit-
ness. All of the events are
free and open to the public.
There is a charge for Tay-
Sachs screening.
Covering the gamut of
health needs from acne to
depression and Cardio-
Pulmonary Resuscita-
tion (CPR), the program
includes lectures on
exercise and weight con-
trol, an overview of ag-
ing, nutrition, substance
abuse (valium, alcohol
and other addictive
drugs), parenting your
parents and an overview
of depression.
Lecturers included Dr.
Ronald E. Trunsky, chief of

president, announced that
the event will be held at the
main Jewish Community
Center, noon to 5 p.m. Oct.
28.

tal, will sponsor the Tay-
Sachs screening program in
Shiffman Hall.
There will also be free
blood typing and blood pres-
sure tests.
A program for teens will
include care of skin prob-
lems, how to be a better
