HERMAN LEVINE
For each of the last 10
years, Levine said, club
members, all of them re-
tirees, have donated $8,000
or more to the Campaign.
Last year, the 60 club mem-
bers contributed $9,000 .
Since the club began the
practice of giving regular
treasury gifts -to the Cam-
paign, it has given more
than $120,000.
Contributing to the
welfare of the Jewish
community is nothing
new for Levine. For many
years he worked as a vol-
unteer for Sinai Hospital

Mental retardation is a
condition, often congenital,
in which normal develop-
ment fails to take place as
an infant grown older. It
should not be confused with
mental illness, which is a
disorder of thinking and
emotion, and which may
occur at almost any age, in
normal people.
