Egyptian Week Held in Albany
ALBANY, N.Y. (JTA) —
The Albany Jewish com-
munity reacted warmly to
the first Egyptian Week
promotion held here, which
took place at the Nelson
Rockefeller Mall from July
30 to Aug. 6. Wadie Her-
mina, the Egyptian gov-
ernment official in charge,
was honored at a reception
arranged by the Greater
Albany Jewish Federation,

Hermina said he is espe-
cially interested in attract-

Egypt, but said he also
envisions future joint ven-

mina, who is the Egyptian
delegate to the Arab-

the Jubilee Assembly of the
Jewish Agency in the Knes-
set. "Geography no longer
separates Jewish problems
from Jewish people."
This new interdepen-
dence will force the new
Zionism to become univer-
sal in outlook and approach,
Fisher said, "forcing the
Jewish Agency to look out-
ward to the needs and con-
cerns of all the Jewish
people, to the totality of the
House of Israel."
