The bride is the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Rit-
ten of Detroit. Parents of the
bridegroom are Mr. and
Mrs. Fred Sherman of Oak
Park.
Joyce Ritten was her sis-
ter's maid of honor. Brides-
maids were Myrna Ritten,
sister of the bride, Marlene
Sherman, sister of the
bridegroom, and Sandra
Sherman, Frances Gendler
and Mimi Bugeleisen.

his brother's best man.

Israel Cancels
Nicaragua Sale

WASHINGTON — Israel
has canceled the sale of two
patrol boats to Nicaragua at
the request of the U.S.
The boats were on their
way to Nicaragua aboard a
Liberian freighter when the
U.S. made its request. State
Department officials de-
scribed the Israeli action as
"swift and helpful."
