Greater Detroit Council
Pioneer Women,,will inten-
sify its efforts during its an-
nual World Jewish Child's
Day canister drive on May
13-15.
The funds are earmarked
for the maintenance of the
20,000 children in Pioneer
Women/NaAmat child care
centers in Israel. In the 12
countries where Pioneer
Women operate, the organ-
ization actively supports all
legislation designed to pro-
tect children.
The varied child care
installations in Israel fall
into two basic types. Day
nurseries and kindergar-
