businessman denied a re-
po# that her husband,
Davoud Alliance, was shel-
tering Shapour Bakhtiar,
the former Iranian Prime
Minister. Bakhtiar disap-
peared after the Islamic
revolution in Teheran.
Mrs. Alliance said the re-
port on Teheran Radio, that
Bakhtiar was stayirig at
their home in Cheadle, Che-
shire seemed to be an April

When Paul's, on Broad-
way, now receives a tele-
phone call for a Deutch, the
caller is asked whether he
wants law or drugs.
This is because Martin
Deutch now has a desk in
Paul's drugstore on Broad-
way operated by his father,
Joseph Deutch, and Mar-
tin's brother, Harvey.
The drugstore is an in-
stitution in Detroit: It car-
ries, besides regular
drugstore items, herb re-
medies such as senna
leaves, dried raspberries
and slippery elm bark. The
tobacco department dis-
plays old chewing tobaccos
and snuffs.
The elder Deutch said
his regular customers,
mostly elderly, stop to
talk with him about their
marital troubles, their
problems trying to collect
Social Security and their
exasperation with their
doctors.

He thought that turning
over their problems to his
son was logical.
A sign in the window of
the store says: "Law Office
. . . free consultation . . . di-
vorce, personal injury,
workmen's compensation,

for a better lawn
