Woman's World Is. Due April 4 D =Alice Ginott to Speak at Shaarey Zedek
"How to Communicate
With Those You Love" will
be the topic of Dr. Alice
Ginott, psychologist and
psychoanalyst, who will be
the featured speaker April 4
for Woman's World 1979,
sponsored by the Sisterhood
of Cong. Shaarey Zedek.
The all-day fund-raising
event for the synagogue be-
gins with continental
breakfast at 10 a.m. and
will include 25 boutiques, a
white-elephant sales booth,
a luncheon and other
events.- Dr. Ginott will
speak following the lunch-
eon.

Alice Ginott collaborated
with her late husband, Dr.
Haim Ginott, in pioneering
studies of parent-child and
teacher-child relationships
in their books ."Between
Parent and Child," "Be-
tween Parent and Teen-
ager" and - "Between
Teacher and Child." Dr.
Ginott recently completed
"Between Husband and
Wife," which she co-
authored with her husband.
_ Dr. Ginott's idea of com-
munication is to teach
people how to enter into the
world of another in a com-
passionate, understanding
way. "Most of us are - un-
proceeds of the sale of items
from the collection will
benefit Hadassah.
There will be a- preview
and photographic exhibit
depicting the history of
Hadassah in Israel.
Frank Consentino,
Boehm president and
author of several books
on porcelains, will dis-
cuss "Boehm's Journey
to Israel," when the col-
lection was . presented as
a tribute to Israel's 30th
anniversary.
