Everything On Our Menu Available For Carry-Out
didn't make any money on
son Scott (6'3") when we
went to the all-you-can-eat
spot on W. Eight Mile, east
of Evergreen . . . He piled
about five entrees and veg-
etables galore to fill his
weight-lifting body.
This is the former Origi-
nal Beef Buffet . . . now so
very much better and owned
by Jim Carter and Don Cor-
setti . . . clean, pleasant and
tasty food.
During February, Carter
House is having a lower
price on its all-you-can-eat
specials that include every-
thing except beverage and
dessert . . . Lunch is $2.39
and dinner $2.99 for adults
. . . children three to 10
$1.39 lunch and $1.69
dinner . . . Kiddies under
three are free.
PERSONS WISHING
TO run a tab at Oscar's
Disco, Northwestern Hwy.,
must show identification
. . . Hope this doesn't lead to
restaurants asking for ID
before serving people.

among the best around . .
certainly the white fish.
Stephan's low prices in-

I LIKE THE policy at
Irving's Deli, Greenfield
north of 11 Mile . . . fair to
people waiting in line . . .
that no party is seated un-
less the entire group is pre-
sent . . . I've seen some come
in at places and sit for an
hour with the others never
showing . . . or sit with a cup
of coffee and the party
shows up a half-hour later.
WHEN THE awaited
Rosebud Disco opens this
spring in the American
Motors Bldg., plus bei4- one
of the Midwest's most lavish
disco scenes, it will bring
back what many Detroiters
have never been able to
forget . . . those wonderful
Yom Kippur night dances
. . . There'll be big band dis-
cos too, plus nostalgia
nights with movie screen.
And so, with the opening
of Rosebud, even the Yom
Kippur night dances will go
disco!
DELI SCENE ... sure
takes nerve . . . the cus-
tomer bringing his own
sandwich . . . You can't win:
the lady asking, "How do
you expect one to eat such a
big sandwich?" . . . (she's
probably the same type of
person who complains when
they're too small!) .. .
Long line waiting, but the
fellow taking up a table by
continuing to read . . . When
someone asked him if he
was finished, he answered,
"I don't know until I'm done
reading this article." .. .
Gent charged a minimum
for sitting during rush
hours and not ordering any-
thing decided to take his
wrath out on the owners .. .
He poured an entire barrel
of pickles on the table into
the pocket of his expensive
suit . . . "That'll teach them
a lesson!"
