CHANNA PALTI
worked in the Ministry of
Foreign Affairs, and accom-
panied Israel's first Foreign
Minister, Moshe Sharrett,
to the UN Assembly in
Paris that year. In the 1950s
she went with her late hus-
band, Gershon Palti, to
England, where he served
at the Israel Embassy in
London.
Mrs. Palti later served in

in which she edited "The
Arab View." She also repre-
sented Israel at the UN
Committee on Human
Rights in 1974 and 1975. As
