Our waiter, Steve
Szpulak, was a good one .. .
pleasant, personable and
most efficient . . . Vegeta-
rians will love the appetizer
Frieda and I had . . .
Ratatouille ... a French
dish made withzucchini,
onions, green peppers, and
mixed with fresh tomato
sauce.
Then Steve brought us
another new Sultan's
Table feature ... lettuce
and tomatoes plus a long

The presentation was
very elegant and its taste
just as good ... The King
Crab Legs' meat is
sauteed separately in
lemon butter ... Onions,
green peppers also are
sauteed in lemon butter
... The filet is sauteed in
brandy, sherry wine and
Grand Marnier ... then
added to the onion and
green peppers.
Vegetable of broccoli with
cheese sauce and de-
lightful glasses of white
wine complimented a fine
dinner.
Mike then brought me a
cigar with his own personal
compliments . . . and con-
tinuous coffee in clean cups
. . . giving "the new" Sul-
tan's Table that fine touch
of class.
Can't beat the manage-
rial team of Pete Jonna and
Hank Benatti . . . Executive
chef Sam Fenton is among
the best in town.
The name may not need a
change ... After all, Sul-
tan's Table at the Dunes in
Las Vegas is among the
finest gourmet dining spots
anywhere.
Downstairs in the Sul-
tan's Den, is one of this
locale's better known
pianist-blues singers ...
Vi Campbell ... a bit of
Dinah Washington and
Sarah Vaughn both tak-
ing parts within her
voice.
