H. Rosenberg
Michael Greene
Henry Rosenberg, a
Southfield building con-
tractor, was killed Saturday
by a collapsing roof in
Acapulco. He was 70.
He was one of two Michi-
gan residents who died
when part of the roof of an
18-story resort hotel fell
into a crowded cafeteria.
Mr. Rosenberg was a gen-
eral building contractor
until his retirement four
years ago. He was a member
of Cong. Shaarey Zedek,
Craftsman Lodge of the Ma-
sons and Crescent Shrine
Club. He resided at 16196
Cu*--llerland, Southfield.
Rosenberg leaves his
wite, -Sara; a son, Robert; a
sister, Mrs. Philip (Belle)
Goldenberg; and three
grandchildren.
Michael Greene, an
agent, supervisor and con-
sultant for the Metropolitan
Life Insurance Co. for more
than 35 years, died Oct. 14
at age 76.
Born in New York, Mr.
Greene lived 63 years in De-
troit. He was a member of
the Jewish Community
Center, a member and past
president of the Hannah
Schloss Old Timers.
He was a former profes-
sional basketball player
with the Tri-Squares and
T.B. Rayle's and was one of
the first professional bas-
ketball players in the 1920s.
He leaves his wife, Helen;
two sons, Robert and
Nathan; and five
grandchildren.
Bert S. Eiges
Bert S. Eiges, a retired
men's and boys' clothing
manufacturer's representa-
tive, died Oct. 16 at age 85.
Born in Elmira, N.Y., Mr.
Eiges lived 55 years in De-
troit. He was a member of
Temple Beth El, Michigan
Apparel Club and a charter
member of the Harry B.
Keidan Lodge of Bnai Brith.
He resided at 16500 North
Park Dr., Southfield.
He leaves a sister,
Madeline.
M. Bernstein, 69
Marvin Bernstein, foun-
der and owner of Fleetwood
Dental Laboratories in Red-
ford Township, died Oct. 16
at age 69.
A native Detroiter, Mr.
Bernstein was in business
for more than 40 years. He
resided at 23625 Coach
Light Dr., Southfield.
He leaves his wife, Sarah;
a daughter, Mrs. Bernard
(Murial) Hirsch; a brother,
Harold; and two grandsons.

mains of Rama (Irma) Lin-
dheim were brought to Mis-
hmar Ha'emek earlier this
month.
Mrs. Lindheim, a past na-
tional president of Hadas-
sah after Henrietta Szold,
lived in Mishmar Ha'emek
from 1933 until the last
year of her life which she
spent in Berkley, Calif.,
with her son. She died ear-
lier this year at age 91.

Oct. 16 at age 60.
Born in Detroit, Mrs.
