JEWISH PARENTS
INSTITUTE

The Jewish Parents Institute is an affiliate organization of the
Jewish Community Center. JPI emphasizes a family oriented Sunday
school offering a secular Jewish education for children in kindergarten
through the teens. The family-centered program offers the opportunity
for children to get to know their Jewish heritage from a secular point of
view, but which also encourages a learning process among parents
which parallels that of the children.

The emphasis of JPl is on education for living as Jews in America.
Its primary aim is to build a feeling of belonging as Jews and Ameri-
cans, and to awaken a warm interest in all things Jewish.

JPI meets at the Center's Main Building every Sunday morning,
from 10:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. For further information, contact the JPI
offices at 661-1000.
