Reba Bloom Elected President
of Jewish National Fund Unit

Reba Bloom was installed
as president of the Women
of Jewish National Fund at
the women's annual instal-
lation meeting at Temple
Emanu-El.
Other officers are Shirley
Kraft and Diane Levine,
vice presidents; Helen
Rosenfeld, Pearl Nosan and
Sylvia Schneider, chair-
men; Marilyn Schlussel,
treasurer; Fannie
Rosenblat, Ceil Hackman,
Bess Glazier and Jean
Kiefer, secretaries; and
Doris Gleit, new board
member.
Belle Levin was instal-
ling officer, and Mrs. Nor-
man Allan was accom-
panist. Shirley Kraft was
program chairman.

Holocaust Topic
of Area Teachers

"Teaching the Holocaust"
will be the focus of a confer-
ence for public and private
school educators 2-6 p.m.
Thursday at the Mercy Col-
lege Conference Center.
The program is sponsored
by the Interfaith Coordinat-
ing Committee on the
Holocaust, which includes a
number of church groups,
the Jewish Community
Council and the Detroit
Round Table of the National
Conference of Christians
and Jews.
