Mo'os Hitim Needs, Passover Aid
to Israeli Poor, Urged by Mizachi
Pursuing a traditional pol-

Passover, adhering to the
Mo'os Hitim precedents fol-
lowed by the religious Zion-
ist movement, Detroit Miz-
rachi-Hapoel HaMizrachi
this week issued an appeal
for generosity towards the

of Passover needs for the
less fortunate.
Phillip Stollman, presi-
dent, and Zvi Tomkiewicz,
executive director, said in
their appeal to the commu-
nity that the economic hard-
ships in Israel during the
present economic transition
period necessitate the ex-
penditure of larger funds for
Passover Mo'os Hitim.
They stated that $15 and
$25 food certificates would
again be distributed to the
needy. The tickets are
redeemable at the 11 Super
Sol markets in Israel.
