LISTENING
POST
SID HUDSON, Las Vegas
Man of the Year for City of
Hope, is in his home town of
Detroit frequently now mak-
ing local preparations for
his testimonial dinner,
March 12, at the Las Vegas
Hilton.
Some 2,000 people are ex-
pected for Sid's affair...
folks from the country
over...including dignitaries
and celebrities...Nat Brand-
wyne's 20-piece orchestra
will back the super star-
studded show honoring
Sid... Master-of-ceremonies
may be either Paul Anka or
Danny Thomas, and almost
everybody appearing on the
Strip is expected to make an
appearance.
Sid has been a Las Vegas-
ite over 32 years after ,his
Detroit days as Sid Hu-
'Josh...all that time living at
one place, the Flamingo Ho-
tel.
Some 22 years ago. Sid
moved to another room, but
will soon have to move
again...He'll be given a resi-
dence in the new wing after
the first of the year.
But Sid has no beef corn-
ing...Who else can boast of
living in the same place 32
years without his rent ever
being raised?
GET WELL WISHES...to
Howard Caminker, recuper-
ating at home...to barrister

at Woodward and Nine Mile
Rd...Whoever takes over
can have it indefinitely...at
no charge except the utili-
ties.
IF A LODGE brother
owns a boat under 1,400 feet
he cannot become a -mem-
ber of the new Mosaic
Lodge Yacht Club...In other
words, brainer of Senior
Deacon Iry Lachman is
simple...those who don't
own boats can belong.

Lyons. vice president and
superviser at Greenfield-
Eight Mile branch of Manu-
facturers Bank, picked cor-
rect time to leave for Cocoa
Beach, Fla....it snowed so
hard here...Bruce had the
worst part, though...coming
back after leaving the sunny
south.

Rhodika on Northwestern

now lives, and having it all
weatherwise while
here...snow, rain, cold and
sunshine.
Ever notice the amount of
people "trying" to stop
smoking who use those four-
stage holders and stay on
number four... with ciga-
rett es in them of
course?...Now we under-
stand the manufacturer has
made number four stages in
deluxe models for just these
_people!...12-year-old Margo
