Volume Gives Tips
on Salesmanship

Joe Girard is a new-car
salesman for a Detroit auto
dealer, and he is acknowl-
edged as "the World's
Greatest Salesman," ac-
cording to the "Guinness
Book of World Records." In
fact, for each of the past 11
years Girard has outsold
every car salesman in the
world.
The story of how Girard
came to reach this pinnacle
is told in "How to Sell Any-
thing to Anybody" (Simon
and Schuster), co-authored
with Stanley H. Brown.
Since his first break in
business from a Detroit
Jewish builder named Abe
Saperstein, Girard learned
to use his wits and his un-
canny ability to dissect the
selling process with the pre-
cision of a clinical psycholo-
gist to become the success
he is today.
Girard's book provides
sharp, fascinating reading
that is hard to put down.
"How to Sell Anything"
gives specific techniques for
selling success in every-
thing from cars to com-
puters. Both the novice and
the experienced salesman
are sure to benefit from its
advice.

A needle's eye is not too
narrow for two lovers, but
the whole world is not wide
enough for two enemies.
