Detroit Woodwind Chamber
Players will entertain.
Members of the Chamber
Players include Shaul Ben-
Meir, flutist; Douglas Corn-
&seri; claritietist; and Phil-
lip Austin, bassoonist.
A native of Israel, Ben-
Meir studied in Israel and
England. He won a silver
medal at the 1962 Inter-
national Wind Instruments
Competition in Helsinki,
Finland. He was principal
flutist for the Haifa Sym-
phony for three years before
coming to the U.S. as vis-
