Fink of Ann Arbor, son of
Col. and Mrs. Rudolph Fink.
Miss Phillips was gradu-
ated from Wayne State Uni-
versity with a BS degree in

Two Are Shot
in Synagogue Lot

ST. LOUIS — One man
was- killed and another was
wounded by a gunman with
a high-powered hunting rifle
as the two stood in the park-
ing lot of Brith Sholom Kne-
seth Israel suburban Rich-
mond Heights last Saturday
after services.
Police said Gerald Gor-
don, 42, of St. Louis, died of
his wounds in a hospital.
The wounded man /was iden-
tified as William Lee Ash,
31, of Akron, Ohio.
Police later recovered the
rifle. The killer fled the
scene and the motive fbc
