The North Royal Oak
Township Senior Citizens
Information and Referral
Center, in conjunction with
the Pearl Wright Multi Pur-
pose Center, has a new, free
home companion service for
those convalescing or home-
bound seniors living in the
apartments off Greenfield
between 10 Mile, Lincoln
and the Oak Park border.
Senior citizens in the area
have been hired as aides to
provide the following serv-
O .
ices : making meals, dis-
pensing medication, light
grocery shopping, picking
up prescriptions and bank-
ing, as well as companion
care. House cleaning is not
included.
Any convalescing or
homebound seniors on lim-
ited income needing help
with any of the above should
contact Rita Russakoff,
social service and program

Cong. Bnai Moshe.

that comprise United Israel,

Social Club. Mrs. Eugene

year's dinner chairman.

is Mrs. Louis Papo.
Guest speaker will be
Nahum Astar. Israel consul
general for the Southeastern
U.S.O. Prior to assuming
this post, he was director of
the official guest division of
the Foreign Ministry after
having served for four years
as ambassador to Liberia
following four years as con-
sul general and counsellor

SPICY SPANISH SHELLS
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup sliced celery
3 tbsps. butter or margarine
1 can (7 oz.) solid white tuna
1 can (15 oz.) Chef Boy-ar-dee Macardni Shells
1/4 cup sliced black olives
1 green pepper, sliced
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup sour cream
1/4 cup water
Saute celery and onion in butter-until tender. Add tuna
and cook for three more minutes. Stir in macaroni shells.
olives. pepper, cheese, sour cream and water. Simmer cov-
ered, stirring occasionally, for five minutes. Serve gar-
nished with chopped egg.
