Mrs. Rosenfeld to Be Honored
by the JNF Women for Bonds
Mrs. Anton A. Rosenfeld,
a life member of the
Women of Jewish National
Fund, will be honored as
"Woman of the Year" at a
JNF-Israel Bond Luncheon.
Mrs. Rosenfeld will re-
ceive the "Jerusalem Anni-
versary" Award at the
luncheon, to be held Oct.
11, at Cong. Bnai Moshe.
The award will be present-
ed "in tribute to Mrs. Rose-
nfeld's years of leadership
in the JNF, the Israel Bond
program, and many other
communal and Zionist
causes; and commemorates
the 10th anniversary of the
reunification of Jerusa-
lem."
The honoree and her hus-
band, former cantor of
Bnai Moshe and semi-re-
tired insurance broker,
have established a JNF For-
est in Israel and as life
members, donated a room
at the Shaarey Zedek Hospi-
tal of Jerusalem. Mrs. Rose-
nfeld is a life member of
Hadassah and Ladies of
Yeshivath Beth Yehuda.
She was active in the Debo-
rah Zionist Organization,
and is a past vice president

Record Stag Day Response;
Election of DSG Board Due

Day are bringing record re-
sponse from Allied Jewish
Campaign-Israel Emergen-
cy Fund workers, it was re-
ported by Stag Day chair-
man Thomas I. Klein.
The annual "fun day,"
during which Campaign
workers relax and share in
the achievement of the just-

take place Wednesday at
Franklin Hills Country
Club.
This is the 28th such
event held by the Detroit
Service Group, year-round
organization for workers of
the AJC-IEF. President is
Arthur Howard.
Among the highlights of
the Stag Day gathering
are a buffet lunch and
awards dinner at which the
DSG Losing Cup will be pre-
sented to the campaign divi-
sion with the largest per-
centage increase in contri-
butions over the previous
year's division total.
Awards to winning golfers
also will be given.
Stag Day also will be the
occasion of the biennial
meeting of the Detroit Serv-
ice Group, at which 33 mem-
bers-at-large will be nomi-
nated and elected to serve
on the DSG board of direc-
tors.
