Cong. Bnai Moshe Men's Club representatives presented
a collection of materials on Israel and the Middle East to
the Henry Ford Centennial Library in Dearborn and
Mercy College. The collection incudes 80 books, pamphlets
and position papers on Zionism, Jerusalem, anti-Semitism
and more. Participating in the presentation of the collec-
tion, made on behalf of the National Federation of Jewish
Men's Clubs, were: Eliot Raskin, president of the men's
club; Rolin P. Marquis, Dearborn city librarian; Rabbi
Stanley M. Rosenbaum of Bnai Moshe; and Simon Gold-
man, vice president of the Great Lakes Region, NFJMC.

An arthritis research proj-
ect conducted at the Flor-
ida University College of
Medicine, under the direc-
tion of former Detroiter'Dr.
Richard Panush, was re-
cently featured in an article
in the Gainesville (Fla.)
Sun.

Dr. Panush is associate
professor of medicine and
immunology and medical
microbiology at the Univer-
sity of Florida in Gain-
esville. He has published
more than 35 scientific arti-
cles and participated in
many international confer-
ences.

Unionists, Zionists Hold Press Parley

The coalition of the Black
Trade Unionist Chapter of
the A. Philip Randolph In-
stitute and the Labor Zion-
ist Alliance held a press
conference Thursday, morn-
ing, at the Butzel Building,
in downtown Detroit.

Members of the coalition
expressed their support for
a higher minimum wage
with increments tied to the
average industrial wage, as

was originally proposed.
Participants in the coali-
tion committee are: Tom
Turner, president, Detroit
AFL-CIO; John Shepherd,
president, Jewish Commu-
nity Council; Rabbi Leon
Fram, Temple Israel; Wil-
liam Stodghill, president,
United Black Trade Union-
ist Chapter, A. Philip Ran-
dolph Institute ; Norman
Naimark, Labor Zionist Al-
liance.
