Alert Bus Driver

JERUSALEM (JTA)—An
alert Egged bus driver was
credited last week with pre-
venting possible loss of life
or injuries to his passen-
gers. The driver, who
spotted a suspicious looking
package in his vehicle, or-
dered all of his passengers
off. He drove to the Egged
garage and was on the way
to telephone the police
when a bomb contained in
the package exploded. No
injuries were reported and
damage to the bus was
minor.
