Safer is probably best
known today as one of the
three journalists of the
popular "60"Minutes" (the
others are Mike Wallace
and Dan Rather) ... But it
was his probing stories
challenging the myth of
the Vietnam War that
caught the attention of the
American people and the
Johnson Administration.
