BOB DYLAN
will be recalled as the
idealist-poet-singer who
sang with love to Israel
and gave his blessings to
the defenders of the
Jewish state in several of
his concerts.
Whether they are the
leaders in the Knopf vol-
ume, "I Want You," "Just
Like a Woman" and
"Stuck Inside of Mobile
with the Memphis Blues
Again" or the many other
songs in this volume, they
are of a modernity that
immediately becomes
nostalgic for the tens of
thousands of the Dylan
admirers and followers.
Knopf-published "The
Songs of Bob Dylan" as a
magnum opus for all lov-
ers of music.
