NEW YORK (JTA) —
As part of a massive
nation-wide Evangelistic
campaign, a film entitled
alternately "Massada
. . . Monument to Free-
dom" and "Never Again"
will be broadcast on New
York area television sta-
tions at various times
during the High Holi-
days, according to the
Jewish Community Rela-
tions Council of New
York.
The program had been
aired three times in the
Detroit area. The Jewish
News staff found that the
broadcast adhered to the
traditional story and the
fact that an evangelical
group sponsored the
program in no way
showed proselytization
attempts in the program
itself. The Jewish News
warned readers that they
might receive literature
if they responded to a free
Masada medallion offer.
(See Jewish News, Sept.
10)
The sponsors have
placed ads in major
American newspapers
advertising the film, but
without mention of the
fact that it is sponsored
by World Evangelism
Inc., a California-based
Erica, Moishe, Brocho, Malka
missionary group. Morris
Itzy and Eli
Cerullo, producer and
narrator of the film, has
George, Estelle, Elana, Ari
produced other
and Ranan
evangelistic films for the
group and describes him-
self as "God's servant to
reach the Jews now," the
Sol, His Family and the Staff of
JCRC reported.
The film, which features
Yigal Yadin and his son,
Yossi, along with Israeli
actor Orl Levy, tells the
story of the martyrdom at
Massada.
Cerullo indicates he is
seeking $90,000 this

of the broadcasts. Each
