St. John to Address Dinner

Robert St. John, eminent
author and lecturer, whose
many published works in-
clude the biographies of
Abba Eban, Eliezer Ben-
Yehuda, David Ben-Gurion
and Gamal Abdul Nasser,
will be the guest speaker at
the dinner meeting of the
Michigan branch of Magen
David Adorn, the Israel
counterpart of the Red
Cross.
The dinner will honor Mr.
and Mrs. Felix Rosenzweig.
Dinner chairman is Dr.
Morris Starkman.
Dr. John Mames, chair-
man of the Michigan branch
of Magen David, said the
Michigan Magen David

workers this year are asked
especially to support the
Blood banks.
St. John's topic at the
affair will be "What Next
in the Middle East?"
Prominent as a correspon-
dent since World War II,
St. John has made an an-
nual trip to the Middle
East since 1948, and is one
of the few journalists
welcomed in both Israel
and the Arab countries.
He is the recipient of
Israel's Medallion of Valor,
the highest award Israel has
ever bestowed on a non-Jew.
