A prominent Detroit cou-
ple, Mr. and Mrs. Harry
Landsman, received what
developed into communal
acclaim at their 50th wed-
ding celebration last Sun-
day.
More than 150 friends and
relatives attended the affair
at the Farmington Hills
home of son and daughter-
in-law Rodney and Sandra
Landsman, which was also
sponsored by daughter and
son-in-law Ru-byjean and
Richard Gould.
Guests'came from Cali-
fornia, Florida, Iowa, Maine
and Texas.

MR., MRS. LANDSMAN
Mr. Landsman, who re-
cently retired from the
accounting business, has
been active in numerous
communal activities. The
couple were wed June 27,
1926 in Detroit.
Mrs. Landsman, the for-
mer Zelda Medvedov, was a
member of the earliest
Young Judaea groups in
Detroit and as a student at
Detroit City College, the
forerunner of Wayne State
University, was an active
member of the Intercolle-
giate Zionist Association.
She has been writing poe-
try and several of her poems
have appeared through the
years in The Jewish News
and in other publications.
She wrote the following as a

Erica Joan Keeps, daugh-
ter of Mr. and Mrs. Leo
Keeps of Southfield, became
the bride of Jeffrey Kranitz,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Aaron
Kranitz of Miami Beach, at
recent ceremonies at the
Michigan Inn.
Rabbi M. Robert Syme of
Temple Israel performed
the ceremony.
After a honeymoon trip to
England and Scotland the
couple is residing in South-
field.
