installation of officers

Kingsley Inn. Rose Bricker
will recite the invocation
and Martha Nitz-
ken will install the officers.
Newly elected officers are

Belle Cohen and Irene Rod-
man, vice presidents; Eva
Meister, Doris Rosenbaum,
Eva Rivkin and Sarah Shin-
dler, secretaries; Rose Shap-
iro, treasurer; Rose Aaron,
Bess Gruskin, Estelle Alter,
Harriet Baker, Anne Berg-
man, Ruth Alter, and Be-
ckie Weinman, chairmen;
and Fannie Kline, Molly
Manela and Bessie Gold,

The women's society re-
cently presented a $1,000
check to the Allied Jewish
Campaign-Israel Emer-
gency Fund, making the
group's total gift of $3,200
the largest treasury dona-
tion to the Jewish Welfare
Federation Women's Divi-
sion this year.
The society conducts
fund-raising efforts an-
nually to benefit the Israel
Emergency Fund. The
Primrose Benevolent So-
ciety is a member of the
League of Jewish Women's
Organizations.
Mrs. Joseph M. Markel
was re-elected president for
her ninth consecutive term
of the Music Study Club of
Metropolitan Detroit at the
club's annual meeting.
Other officers are Mes-
dames Jack Krops and Vic-
tor Linden, vice presidents;
Bernard Ginsberg, Bernard
Nathan and Marvin Rich,
secretaries; Mark Howard,
treasurer; and Max Reich,
administrative assistant.
