The women's society re- cently presented a $1,000 check to the Allied Jewish Campaign-Israel Emer- gency Fund, making the group's total gift of $3,200 the largest treasury dona- tion to the Jewish Welfare Federation Women's Divi- sion this year. The society conducts fund-raising efforts an- nually to benefit the Israel Emergency Fund. The Primrose Benevolent So- ciety is a member of the League of Jewish Women's Organizations. Mrs. Joseph M. Markel was re-elected president for her ninth consecutive term of the Music Study Club of Metropolitan Detroit at the club's annual meeting.
