Grove Will Honor Naimarks
GIVE YOUR INVITATION
A "NAME"
Dr. Martin Naimark and
his brothers, Milton and
Norman, together with
other members of the fam-
ily and friends, are planting
a grove (1,000 trees) in Is-
rael, through the Jewish
National Fund, in memory
of their parents, Rose and
Benjamin Naimark. The
grove is located in the Itzhak
Ben-Zvi Forest in Modin,
near Jerusalem, the birth-
place of the Maccabees.
The Naimarks were de-
voted supporters of JNF
throughout their lives. Rose
Naimark, who died several
years ago, worked for JNF
until her death. She was
especially active in Blue-
White Box clearance. She
was 99 percent complete in
clearing her Blue Boxes as
part of the fall clearance by
Pioneer Women, Club One,
when she died. Her hus-
band, Benjamin, went on to
finish her task.
Nai
th mark, who died ear-
lier is year, was a leader
in the Labor Zionist move-
ment for many years.
