communal leaders have
been appointed to 1976 Al-
lied Jewish Campaign-Israel
Emergency Fund leadership
•posts by Campaign chair-
men Dr. Leon Fill and Merle
Harris.
Daniel M. Honigman will
serve as co-chairman for the
1976 AJC-IEF.. Irving Selig-
man, Phillip Stollman and

Philip T. Warren will help
lead the fund-raising drive
as Campaign associate
chairmen.
Honigman served as asso-
ciate chairman for the 1974
and 1975 Cartpaigns.
Seligman is a returning

associate chairman of the
Campaign. Having held
positions as pre-Campaign
chairman and chairman of
the Real Estate and Build-
ing Trades Division, Selig-
man is a director of the
Jewish Community Center
and the Detroit Service
Group.

A 1974 and 1975 Cam-
paign vice chairman, Stoll-
man is a member of Federa-
tion's- board of governors,
Culture and Education Divi-
sion, and a trustee of Sinai
Hospital.
A pre-Campaign chair-
man for the past two con-
secutive years, Warren was
also chairman of the Indus-
trial and Automotive Divi-
sion and a Detroit co-chair-
man of a 1973 "Operation
Israel" Mission. Warren is
directorof the Detroit Serv-
ice Group, and a board
member of the Jewish
Home for Aged.
All four leaders serve on

the Campaign's Cash Mobi-
lization Committee which
accelerates cash collections.

Metropolitan Division
to Meet Sunday

Representatives of more
than 126 organizational con-
tributors to the 1975 Allied
Jewish Campaign-Israel
Emergency Fund will be
honored at the annual
awards meeting of the Cam-
paign's Metropolitan Divi-
sion on Sunday.
The leaders will also an-
nounce their 1976 Campaign
gifts.
Two hundred individual
solicitors this past year will
also be singled out for honor
by the Division's chairmen,
Morris Asher and Morris
Friedman.
Dr. Murray A. Shekter,
who has just directed a pro-
fessional and dental study
group of Detroiters en a
mission to Israel, will be
guest speaker. Shekter was
chairman of the 1975 Cam-
paign's Dentists Section
within the Professional Di-
vision.

suggestion for a nourishing
treat for adults as well as

children.

1 stick margarine
'/3 cup white sugar
V3 cup brown sugar
tsp. vanilla
1 12
1 large egg
11/4 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
'/4 tsp. salt
3/4 cup oatmeal
3/4 cup chopped nuts
1 /3 cup chocolate chips
V3 cup butterscotch chips

Preheat oven to 375 de-
grees. Cream margarine,
sugar, eggs and vanilla. Add
flour, baking soda, salt and
oatmeal. Mix. Then blend in
nuts and chips. Grease a
13x9-inch pan. Spread
dough into pan evenly. Bake
for 15 minutes. Cool and cut
into squares.
