Yom T'ruah (biblical) The
Day of the Blowing of the
Shofar; Yom Ha-Zikoron
(biblical) the Day of Re-
membrance; and Yom Ha-
din (Rabbinical) the Day of
Judgment.
Two holy days in the Jew-
ish calendar are Rosh Has-
hana, (the beginning of the
year) the New Year, and
Yom Kippur, (Biblical term,
"Yom Kipurim" or "Yom
Ha-Kippurim") the Day of
the Atonement.
