and Drycleaning.
Louis Sill is currently ap-
pearing in the Flint Com-
munity Players production
of Joseph Stein's comedy,
"Enter Laughing," at the
Bower Theater: Other cast
members are Art Becker
and Joel Kaufman.
Adam Sorscher won
three times to reach the
quarterfinals in the boys'
12-and-under division in the
National Junior Tennis
Championships in Char-
lotte, N. C. Sorscher is one
of eight players from the
Midwest who qualified for
this national event.
Max Engelman, Univer-
sity of Michigan freshman,
captured the Flint Junior
Golf Association's top
championship trophy in the
18-hole division.
Gaylyn Katz was a cham-
pion in the singles flights of
the Flint Junior Tennis
Program's annual intraf-
light tournament.

A total of 18 cards have
been returned by the Flint
Jewish Community Council
to J. E. Lee of Pittsburgh,
president of Gulf Oil, pro-
testing the oil company's
contribution to a group
seeking to better the image
in the U.S. of the Arab posi-
tion in the controversy, and
to American Near East Ref-
ugee Aid, Inc.
The council also sent a tel-
egram to President Gerald
Ford asking him to remem-
ber the plight of Soviet Jews
during his talks in Helsinki.
The telegram was signed by
Michael Pelavin, president
of the council, and Richard
Krieger, executive director.

JERUSALEM — A group
of 28 American law stu-
dents are now attending a
month long seminar at the
Hebrew University's faculty
of law on Mount Scopus,
studying legal and political
aspects of Israel.
The students from 15 law
schools all over the United
States, are members of the
Law and Policy Institute
Abroad, conducted by the
American University in
Washington D.C. and Tem-
ple University in Philadel-
phia, in cooperation with
the Hebrew University.
Registration now is open
for the Flint Jewish Com-
munity Council's 1975-1976
adult education program in
Jewish history and culture.
Michael Pelavin, presi-
dent of the council, an-
nounced the courses will be
conducted by Dr. Zvi Gitel-
man, associate professor of
political science at the Uni-
versity of Michigan, and Dr.
Edna Coffin, assistant pro-
fessor of Near East lan-
guages and literature at U-
M.
Classes will meet once a
week for eight weeks in the
fall and once a week for nine
weeks in spring. To register,
