"Profit Making Opportuni-
ties for American Industry
in Israel" will be held 7:30
p.m. Monday at the Michi-
gan Inn in Southfield.
Sponsors of the seminar
are the U. S. Department of
Commerce, the Israel In-
vestment and Export Au-
thority and the American-
Israeli Chamber of Com-
merce.
According to Sam Rich,
president of the Detroit
Chapter of the American-
Israeli Chamber of Com-
merce, the purpose of the
seminar is to encourage at-
tendance at the October IS-
METAL '75 exhibition in Tel
Aviv. A major week-long
display of Israel's metal-
working industry, ISME-
TAL '75, will be featured in
a short film shown during
the seminar.
The public is invited at no

AJC-IEF Benefits
From Aid Society

The Rovner Lachowi-
tcher Aid Society sent a
check for $1,500 to the Met-
ropolitan Division of the
Allied Jewish Campaign-Is-
rael Emergency Fund.
The money, which is an
advance payment on the
club's commitment to the
1976 AJC-IEF, will be sent
to Israel immediately for
use in United Jewish Appeal
humanitarian programs
there. The society met again
this week at Cong. Bnai Is-
rael-Beth Yehuda to con-
tinue its fund-raising ef-
forts on behalf of the Israel
Emergency Fund.
Society president is Jacob
Gubow. The Rovner La-
chowitcher Aid Society be-
longs to the- Metropolitan
Division's Treasury Gifts

Against Romania

NEW YORK — The Cai-
ro-based Voice of Palestine
urged Arab countries to
take "severe actions"
against Romania in retalia-
tion for allowing Jews to
emigrate to Israel as a con-
dition for a trade agreement
with the United States.
