Mrs. Tekoah joined the Is-
rael Ministry for Foreign
Affairs and was an assist-
ant in the UN department
and later in its information
department. In 1965 Mrs.
Tekoah became a member of
the World WIZO executive
organization and was in
charge of public relations
until her husband's appoint-
ment to the UN in 1968
moved the family to the U.S.
