POST
REMEMBER THE
buggy parade on Dexter
Blvd. ? . . . It's nothing com-
pared to the cart parades
that occured at supermar-
kets in the area during Pas-
sover shopping days.
Sally Ranen has been at
Dexter-Davison 20 years
.. . came there to help out
and has been a checkout
stalwart ever since . . . She
could write a book about her
experiences! Sight Scene

help this time with his pack-
ing at the check-out counter

vegetarian foods for his
family, of course . . . Jay

of coconut marshmallows
and stuffing a couple of
them in her mouth . . . Gal

putting things on shelves,
"When are you getting them
in?" . . . "Tomorrow," he
said . . . "Sorry," she re-

his head, shook it and went
about his business in total
confusion . . . Rae Radner
with two able-bodied teen-
agers to help her out . . .

ing more time to check out

than all the while it took
thein to shop . . . while two
check-out cashiers gabbed
. . . Those extra large frames
on gals very smart looking
. . . Marion Goldman with
one of her beautiful daugh-
ters, Carol Klaiman

be a three-way celebration

about the plans . . . went
ahead with own arrange-
ments for a party at the
Charterhouse club room

the community . . . Too bad
things like the Holiday
Hops at the Jewish Center
on Woodward of yester-
years or Social, Inc. with its
various doings at night
clubs can't get off the
ground . . . Trouble is

A JERRY PORTNEY
favorite is this by the popu-

an old man dictating his will
