nity Council announces the
following groups will meet
this` week:
The Jewish War Veterans
Ladies' Auxiliary will have a
pot luck dinner 7 p.m. Sat-
urday at the River Forest
Club House. On Sunday,
Tween Bowling will take
place at 2:30 at Town and
Country Lanes and at 6:30
p.m., a leadership develop-
ment seder will be held at
the Flint I.M.A. Lodge.
Beth Israel Sisterhood
will have a board meeting
12:30 p.m. Monday at the
synagogue. Temple Beth El
will host a board of educa-
tion meeting 8 p.m. Monday
at the temple.

Blue-White Box
Clearance Nears

The Jewish National
Fund will begin its Blue and
White Box clearance March
30, announces Mrs. Frank
Silverman, chairperson of
the Blue Box committee.
The clearance campaign
ends May 11.
Participating in the clear-
ance are Women of JNF,
Young Women of JNF, Had-
assah, Northwest Child Res-
cue Women, Pioneer
Women, Fanny Gluck and
Sisters of Zion Chapters of
Mizrachi Women and sev-
eral youth organizations.
"Lost" boxes, those which
have been missed during
previous clearances, are
being sought. To arrange a
clearance of such a Blue and
White Box, call the JNF,
968-0820.

Special Program

The Creative Touch in Fine Photography

MIAMI BEACH — Har-

bor Island Spa will begin its
"7-come-14" special April 4,
during which guests are in-
vited to stay at the spa for
11 days, but will pay for
seven.
Both paid and free days
entitle guests to the full
range of the spa's facilities:
three meals and evening
snacks, all resources of the
health pavillion including
daily whirlpool jet bath and
massage, free golf three
times a week, free tennis
day and night and a com-
plete social program every
evening.
This year the spa has
added bridge and backgam-
mon instructions. The spe-
cial will continue through
the summer.

Canada Jews Seek
Closer Israel Tie

JERUSALEM (Zins) —
Daniel Monson, president of
the Zionist Organization of
Canada, told a press confer-
ence here that Canadian
Zionists are "interested in a
closer cooperation with the
government of Israel in or-
der to improve Israel's infor-
mational services in Canada
and to remove the obstacles
which stand in the way of
increased aliya from Can-
ada."
