Bnai Moshe Women Plan Donor

Cong. Bnai Moshe's sis-
terhood will have its annual
donor luncheon March 3 at
the synagogue.
Beginning at 10 a.m., the
_donor will feature a bou-
tique walk with booths of
jewelry, plants, needlepoint,
dried flowers home-baked
goods on display. Refresh-
ments will be served.
Luncheon will be served,
followed by a musical pres-
entation, "The Genius of
Gershwin," featuring Music
Plus One with Gloria Book-
stein, Mary Freedland,
Freda Mendelson, Marsha
Tanzman and Rochelle
Lakin, accompanist. Betty
Fishman is narrator.

field, announce the engagement
of their daughter Kathryn Lee
to Alan Michael Wexler, son of
Mr. and Mrs. David L. Wexler
of Pierce Ave., Southfield. Miss
Feldman was graduated from
the University of Michigan and
holds a master's degree from
Tulane University in New Or-
leans. Her fiance was grad-
uated from Wayne State Uni-
versity. A summer wedding is
planned.

BETH ACHIM SISTER-
HOOD announces plans are
under way for its "Boutique
Boulevard" creative arts and
crafts show scheduled for
April 27 and 28 at the syn-
agogile. There will be about
25 booths featuring pottery,
metal sculpture, paper tolle,
macrame, crochet, needle-
point, beadwork, weaving,
decoupage, dough art and
plants. The sisterhood also
will have its own handicraft
booth, and the gift shop will
be open. The Country Candy
Store and Bake Shop will
feature homemade confec-
tions and pastries, and light
meals will be served. Chair-
persons are Mesdames Sol
Schwartz and Larry Fox.
Proceeds will be donated to
the synagogue. Tickets may
be purchased in advance or
at the door. Ticket chairper-
son is Mrs. Abe Meral, and
Mrs. George Norman is co-
chairperson. Mrs. Bernard
Whiteman is ways and
means coordinator.

HOOD will begin its,second Ad-
ult Jewish Education Series
9:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. March 4 at
the synagogue. The series, enti-
tled "Songs of Our People," will
be conducted by Cantor Simon
Bermanis. Refreshments will

BETH SHALOM SISTER-
HOOD will join the Men's Club

students for the honor of
"outstanding Jewish youth
of metropolitan Detroit."
To qualify, a nominee
must be a high school sen-
ior, demonstrate leadership
ability, participate in com-
munity service, excel scho-
lastically and have had a
formal Jewish education.
Nominees will be inter-
viewed by a panel of judges.
