be extended to Milton Lucow,
the temple's president in the
years 1960 to 1962.
Acclaim to Lucow for serv-

years of activity on behalf of

named general manager of
WRIF, the ABC-owned FM
ratio station in Detroit, it
was announced by Allen
Shaw, vice president, ABC-
Owned FM Stations. Minkow
had been general manager
of WSID (AM) and WLPL
(FM) in Baltimore. He re-
ceived a BS degree in radio-
TV and film from Northwest-
ern University in 1968 and
received his MBA from De
Paul University in 1971.

Southfield Store
Sears, Roebuck and Co.
formally opened its new
Southfield store Wednesday
at the Southfield P 1 a z a,
marking a phase of Sears'
current retail expansion pro-
gram to provide improved
shopping and service facili-
ties.
Among the participants at
the opening were Southfield's
May or Donald Fracassi;
Miss Michigan, Susan Short;
Bob Allison of WWJ radio
and Sears officials.
With a gross area of 107,-
800 square feet, Sears' South-
field store has 47 merchan-
dise departments. Major de-
partments include clothing,
appliances, sporting goods,
catalog sales, • heating and
air - conditioning, hardware
and housewares. The auto-
mobile center has an eight-
car service unit.
The new store manager,
Roger G. Ross, heads a sales
and service staff of nearly
240 full-and parttime em-
