The seminar is one of a
series of nursing education
workshops designed by the
nursing services of the four
hospitals to share informa-
tion. Another phase of co-
operation is joint recruit-
ment of nurses by Sinai, Mt.
Carmel Mercy, Providence
and Grace Northwest.
The four hospitals formed
Northwest Metropolitan De-
troit Hospitals, Inc. in 1972
to share services and avoid
costly duplication of special
facilities, thus helping to
hold down the cost of health
care.
